THE BUSINESS 101 EXPERIENCE
Business 101 offers Westminster students the opportunity to work together in a live business enterprise from a purpose-driven perspective. Students learn to work together in new ways to reach a common goal.
We have partnered with The Purple Basket, Westminster University's on-campus basic needs pantry.
Our goal is to support our local community by offering quality products to the Westminster Community and completing student-led service projects for local non-profit organizations.
What is The Purple Basket?

The Purple Basket addresses the impact of hunger, nutrition, housing insecurity, and disparities in access to basic needs.
Hunger and nutrition security are approached in a dignified, destigmatized manner aimed at reducing hunger and increasing resources for all presentations of food insecurity—whether it be a skipped meal or a week of groceries. Students can access sustainable and ethically sourced foods as well as hygiene and basic household items in The Purple Basket.

If you would like to make an item donation for the basic needs pantry, you can take items to The Purple Basket directly. If you are unable to drop off at a bin or Carleson,
you can reach out to one of the BUSI 101 faculty to arrange pickup.
